Megan Frantz, Teacher- 4th and 5th grade
Ms. Frantz holds a B.S. in elementary education and early childhood education from Millersville University. She is currently obtaining her M.Ed in curriculum and instruction with a concentration in online teaching from Millersville University. The 2017-2018 school year marks her 5th academic teaching year, and her first year in online teaching. She comes to ISPA with teaching experience from southwest Philadelphia and the Lehigh Valley. She loves teaching elementary and is looking forward to a great school year!
Bobbi-jo Lundy, Kindergarten & First Grade
Mrs. Lundy holds a B.S. in Child Development from Walden University and Pennsylvania Teaching Certification for Prek-4 from Lycoming College. The 2017-2018 school year marks her 12th academic year in education and her first academic year with in online instruction. Mrs. Lundy comes to ISPA with teaching experience from Montoursville, Pennsylvania area. Mrs. Lundy loves teaching the elementary grade levels and watching the students’ blossom. Mrs. Lundy is excited to start this new adventure teaching online and looking forward to a wonderful school year.
Jennifer Russell, Special Education Teacher
Mrs. Russell holds a B.S. in Early Childhood Education, and an M.Ed. in Education from Temple University. The 2017-2018 school year marks her 2nd academic year in elementary education. She comes to ISPA with teaching experience as faculty at Temple University, Gwynedd Mercy University, and Alvernia University.
Nancy Shifflett, Special Education Teacher
Mrs. Shifflett has a Masters in Special Education from Slippery Rock University and a BS in Elementary Education from Clarion University. Mrs. Shifflett also holds a Masters in Educational Administration and Educational Technology. Mrs. Shifflett brings a variety of teaching experiences over the past 5 years in various Special Education positions from Elementary school through High school math courses. This year will be the first year of online teaching and I am very excited and happy to be working for ISPA.
Jaclyn Snyder, School Counselor
Mrs. Snyder holds a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Child Development & Family Relations from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a M.Ed in School Counseling with K-12 certification also from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Mrs. Snyder comes to ISPA with counseling experiences ranging from residential group homes to public schools and charter schools, including partial hospitalization programs and alternative education programs. Mrs. Snyder most recently worked closely with children in foster care and their educational records to ensure success in their school placements. Mrs. Snyder loves to incorporate student’s creativity into her counseling lessons.
Heather Wells, Second and Third Grade Teacher
Mrs. Wells holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education K-6 with a reading minor. The 2017-2018 school year marks her 6th academic year in education. She taught as a virtual teacher her first year. She taught at another Cyber Charter school for two years. Mrs. Wells also was a lead teacher at a private school for two years. She loves to teach all the Elementary subjects especially Math and Reading.
