Lauren Ardiff, Middle School Science Teacher
Mrs. Ardiff, holds a B.A. in Biology from Arcadia University and a M.Ed. in Elementary Education from University of Phoenix. She is currently certified as a level two instructor with a concentration in Middle Level Science. The 2017-2018 school year marks her 7th academic year in education and her fourth academic year with in online instruction. She comes to ISPA with teaching experience from a variety of positions within Pennsylvania. She loves to teach Life Science.
Danielle Darmo, Sixth Grade Teachers
Mrs. Darmo holds a B.A. in Elementary Education from Grove City University and a M.A.T.L in Education from NOVA Southeastern University. The 2017-2018 school year marks her 12th academic year in education and her first academic year with online instruction. She comes to ISPA with teaching experience from New Jersey, Virginia, Georgia and Pennsylvania. She loves to teach Math and Earth Science.
Tia Gaines, Seventh and Eighth Grade English Language Arts
Mrs. Gaines holds a B.S. in both Secondary Education, English and in Biblical Studies from Cairn University and a M.Ed. in Learning & Technology from Western Governors University. The 2017-2018 school year marks her 13th academic year in education and her eighth academic year in online instruction. She comes to ISPA with teaching experience in cyber, private, public, urban and international schools. She loves to read and teach literature.
Christan Glennon, Special Education Teacher
Mrs. Glennon is in her 12th year Special Education Teacher. She received her BA from LaSalle University in Elem/Special Education and her Masters of Science from Gwynedd Mercy University as a Certified Reading Specialist. Mrs. Glennon has taught students in every grade from Early intervention to Seniors in High School. She spent most of her years in the School District of Philadelphia specializing in Emotional Support, Learning Support and Autistic Support. Mrs. Glennon lives in Montgomery County with her Husband and Five Children.
Anne Hopkins, History/Social Studies
Ms. Hopkins is originally from Wilmington, Delaware. Though she has been teaching for 10 years, this will be her first year teaching in an online format. She holds a B.A. in History from the University of Delaware, an M.A.T. in Secondary Social Studies from Manhattanville College, and a M.A. in Educational Policy and Leadership from The Ohio State University. She has taught in Connecticut, Ohio, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania. She loves to travel, visit museums, run, and be outside.
Allie Schleifer, School Counselor
Mrs. Schleifer holds a B.S. in Business from Penn State University (WE ARE!) and an M.S. in Education Counseling from Villanova University. With over 7 years of experience working with students across all grade levels and a passion for working with children with special needs, Mrs. Schleifer joins ISPA as the middle and high school counselor. Her goal is to provide all students with a safe and supportive environment where they can learn to love and accept themselves, set goals for the future and enhance their emotional well-being. Mrs. Schleifer was born and raised in the Philadelphia suburbs where she still resides today with her husband, 4.5 year old twins, 2 dogs and 1 cat.
Summer Shelton, Science
Ms. Shelton holds a B.S. in Curriculum & Instruction with a minor in Mathematics from The University of Southern Mississippi and a M.Ed. in Learning & Technology from Western Governors University. The 2017-2018 school year marks her 16th academic year in education and her seventh academic year with in online instruction. She comes to ISPA with teaching experience from Tennessee, Mississippi, Czech Republic, and South Korea. She loves to teach U.S. History and Earth Science.
